ROADTRIP SERIES

SCOTLAND

We’ve teamed up with Tom Kahler to travel some epic roads in Scotland. Scroll to see and hear all about it.

Scotland has always been a special place for me, my first ever trip away with friends at the age of 16 involved a road trip around the Scottish highlands in search of the best mountain bike trails. My first memory of Scotland was the amazing roads leading through such old and dramatic landscapes. I always said the drive to Northern Scotland would be worth it for the car window views alone. After several trips, I found my passion for cars growing ever more. Scotland became my last-minute spontaneous getaway location for any press cars I’d managed to get my hands on or, failing that, one of my own. Visiting my favourite parts and familiarizing myself with the best roads nestled between the mountains, I found myself up here 4 - 5 times per year, often out of season, leading to very unpredictable weather. " Endless Curvy Roads "

" Endless Curvy Roads "

For several years, it’s been a goal to purchase a 981 GT4 and return for the dream Scotland road trip. At the end of last year, I finally made the switch to selling the S and getting my first Porsche GT car. With much excitement, I threw some clothes in a bag and started the tedious 7-hour drive to Fort William to fore-fill my needs. The further north we went, the quieter the roads became; early morning drives, mid-day hikes, and late-night blasts filled out the 6-day trip with unforgettable memories and images.
