I’ve been ‘touring’ these mountains for what seems like forever in some ways. I was baptised in the alps, to say that my family has an affinity with this Godly terrain I suppose would be an understatement. (cont'd below)

And yet, so many decades later, this cherished place still take my breath away. There are many ways to appreciate this landscape of awe inspiring scale, mine just happens to be from behind the wheel.
Add a few vital ingredients and the result is nirvana for the petrolhead. Like minded souls, tuned 911s, sense awakening roads and there’s nothing but smiles all round. That and a greater appreciation for just how capable these old 4 wheeled things are.
Amongst the screaming flat sixes echoing through towering rock, nailing apex after apex a rhythm ensues and a kind of calm meditative state. That calm amongst the madness, that is what cars mean to me.
